Table of Content
Pimple Nilakh sits in west Pune between Baner, Aundh, Balewadi and Wakad, and Hinjewadi (also spelled Hinjawadi) is the employment hub most buyers ask about. This guide covers the roads that serve the locality, how public transport works and what to check before you decide. It uses the 24K project pages for the figures it gives and does not quote commute times, because they depend on the day, the route and the exact destination.
To see how Pimple Nilakh compares with its neighbour, read our Baner and Pimple Nilakh comparison. For Metro Line 3 and the distance each 24K project page states, see the corridor guide.
What the 24K Project Pages Say About Distance
| Destination | What the project pages say |
|---|---|
| Hinjewadi (Hinjawadi) IT Park | 8-10 km, on the 24K Manor, 24K Atria and 24K Opula pages |
| Balewadi High Street | "Minutes from" it, on the 24K Manor page |
Manor, Atria and Opula are all in Pimple Nilakh, and the Manor and Atria pages place them in the Aundh Annexe corridor. How far Baner, Aundh, Wakad or the city centre is depends on where in the locality you start, so measure those on a map from the exact address instead of relying on one figure for the whole area.
What Is the Commute to Hinjewadi Like?
The project pages put Hinjewadi IT Park 8-10 km from Pimple Nilakh. How long that takes depends on the time of day, the route and where you are going, because the IT park is large and the phases are some distance apart. We do not publish a fixed time. If you will drive it every day, try the route at your own working hours on a normal weekday before you rely on any general estimate.
Roads Serving Pimple Nilakh
New DP Road is the road named in the addresses of 24K Atria and 24K Opula, and the Manor and Atria pages place their projects in the Aundh Annexe corridor. From there you can reach Baner, Balewadi, Aundh and Wakad by more than one road. Which works best depends on your destination and the hour, and none of them should be assumed to be clear at peak times.
Public Transport and Metro
PMPML runs Pune's city buses. Use the PMPML website to find the routes from the stop nearest the address you are considering, and walk the distance to that stop.
Pune Metro Line 3 runs through the neighbouring Baner and Balewadi corridor. Our Hinjewadi to Baner corridor guide keeps its dated status and the sources behind it, so this page does not repeat them. Confirm an opening date there before you plan a commute around it.
